LithtexNW is looking for a Shipping Supervisor to join our dynamic production team.

As the Shipping Supervisor, you’ll manage the packaging and shipping of jobs for delivery or inventory, train and support staff, and maintain an organized and efficient workspace. This role also involves arranging shipments, managing vehicle maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of all shipping processes.
 
Location: Bellingham (Kentucky St.)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm
Starting Wage: $18 - 18.50 per hour

Key Responsibitlies:
  • Supervise the shipping department, including training staff and organizing workflows.
  • Package, label, and arrange shipping per job ticket instructions.
  • Use shipping tools such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx ShipManager, or FreightQuote.
  • Compare shipping options for cost-effectiveness and arrange LTL freight when needed.
  • Read and interpret job tickets, ensuring quality standards are met before shipping.
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and manage driving schedules.
  • Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean and organized.
  • Schedule staff shifts and ensure timely deliveries.
 
Requirements:  
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience driving large vehicles or making deliveries (no CDL) preferred.
